On the subject of John Edwards, he's merely applying the cheap tactic of "cold reading"; while the South Park episode in which John Edward was rewarded with the "biggest douche in the universe award" (
) already demonstrated how cheap and easy it really is, the malignancy of all this gets clearer upon watching the first episode of the first season of Penn & Teller's Bullshit! show. Highly recommended.
