There is every chance of finishing the game with this party [img]smile.gif[/img]
In fact if you plan on going on to BG2 than this is the party that will fit in with the story.
By all means experiment with NPC's and find out who and what best fits your playing style.
As for the kobolds (nasty critters they are when they don't stop coming) take in Dynaheir with a lightning or fireball wand, fry the %#@&ers, and move through before they can regroup. Hope this helps ya!
