Hm, downsides. Well, there's the very-low carb two-week induction period. It's tough weaning off of them. You sure get tired of bacon and cheese omelets. But, then you can loosen up and coast. You get odd cravings, like for bread, but you never think about sugar or pizza because there are great low-carb ice cream novelties out there. You never are hungry. And, you may gain the weight back after you get off, but that's true of any diet plan.
