The current Green Lantern story arc is supposed to be the last one featuring Kyle Rayner as GL. Then there will follow a mini-series which brings back Hal Jordan and afterwards he'll be the featured GL again. Geoff Johns will be writing the mini-series and, I believe, the main GL book after Jordan comes back.
[ADD] Oh, by the way my favorite comic strip is Bloom County. Since I work in a comic book store, there are too many comic books I like for me to name one favorite, but a few that I like that haven't been mentioned before are Usagi Yojimbo, Ultimate Spiderman, Y the Last Man, Fables, Fallen Angel, Powers, She Hulk, Sleeper, and Liberty Meadows.
