I think it's mostly because classes haven't started yet, to be honest...once they start, I won't have as much time to just sit there being bored and then deciding to pretend I'm twelve to amuse myself... I'll always have productive stuff to do, plus the lubs will be active by then....
Plus, you're right, the atmosphere is kind of childish as of right now...
