Well, the big air was a major let down last night. Didn't leave the city till 5:30 so missed the pre-lims
got there in time for the FMX finals which were fun to watch but the weather was so crap... like, really high winds, pissing down with rain and colder'n a frogs tit to boot [img]tongue.gif[/img]
The snowboard finals got called off 'cause of the crosswind and we had an hour to kill before Rhombus hit the stage so watched the fireworks show and cuddled up in the car trying to keep warm. They finally opened the doors to Rhombus around 11pm so we got out and stood in line... we get two groups from the door to be told that the door sales were all gone [img]graemlins/1pissed.gif[/img] ... news to us seeing we thought that Rhombus was part of the big air ticket that we'd already paid for [img]tongue.gif[/img] After an hour drive back to town I was too tired and wet and cold and poor to head for the clubs so crawled into bed and slept like a log.
About the most exciting thing to happen all night was a crazy lady telling us that we stole her car the night before
I tell ya, Christchurch has got to have a higher than average crazy person population.
Snowing here in the city today so I'm about to go snuggle up on the couch with AJ when she gets here and watch a couple or four dvds and finish off a bottle of red that needs downing [img]smile.gif[/img]
