Sir K, I wonder if hydrogen peroxide rinsing is also a problem, because you clean your mouth and then rinse with water. These whiteners, on the other hand, would deposit H2O2 on your gums, where it would sit for some time, allowing the free radicals.

Hey, Attalus, does this extend to H2O2 gargles -- and what about toothpaste like Mentadent??????
