[/QUOTE]Well these people have some of it right.A great example of a drider is Dinnin Do'Urden who was wickedly turned by his sister Vernia Do'Urden as punishment for not supporting herself and Jarlaxle on their first trip to the surface to kill Drizzt.To answer your question,the turning of a drow to a drider can take form as a ritual spell in one of the Matrons private worship churches, it takes about an hour to complete the task. First, the priesteses must pray to Lolth for the power to preform the spell, if it's a worthy waste of energy the spider queen will grant the spell.I dont know the rest of the details but i wish i did.there is an actual site somewhere that has the spell and how to do it but last time i tried to hack in they virised my computer
