I say... Death to WoW!!! All who oppose the storyline of Warcraft will perish in the holy fire.
"For the Light!" Prince Arthas
"Darkness called but I wasn't home" Demon Hunter
"Stop poking meeeee!!!" Anonymous
In my eyes, Warcraft should have stayed a rts, although I think millions of players around the world would disagree with me.

Hahaha don't really know why I'm posting this, I didn't get addicted to WoW, although I wish I would have, I really wanted to enjoy this game. Well Mr. Loftis, sense you asked for stories I'll give you one of mine, although I only reached lvl 27ish so this is prolly my only story.

I was strolling through the Alliance lands as a crusader for justice, a human paladin. In one of my class specific quests I was supposed to journey to a farmstead who was being run by a woman who's husband was off at Stormwind or some such place. This damsel was being distressed by Defias Brotherhood thieves, the scum of the earth. So I traveled to her home with all haste, and not a moment too soon as the Brotherhood was already atacking. The lady was fighting valiently with her blunderbuss and I jumped in immediately with my two-handed sword. We battled back the first three or so waves but as the last band attacked we became sorely pressed. Just when I thought the battle lost and my life over, help came from the most unexpected source, a troll of the Horde. He was a mighty warrior, obviously of vast more skill than I, and together we made short work of the remaining brigands. After the battle I tried to speak to my savior, but he couldn't understand my words, and knew nothing of the trollish language. In the end, he bowed to me, and I saluted him with the utmost honor. The incident affected me greatly, I was batteling for my life against honorless and cowardly humans, while a sworn enemy of the alliance came to my aid with no thought of award. That irony will no doubt stay with me for the rest of days, and has made me question if we of the Alliance are truly so righteous.

Now thats a true story folks, and I hope I told it well. I think it payed for my meaningless ranting and hijacking of the thread.
