The story is even a bit juicier for them -- since at $39.99 it was more expensive than the typical expansion pack.
But, at least they act like professionals at Blizzard. They dropped 4 million copies on release date. No shortages. Why can't the console-makers get a clue? PS3 is going to assploderize all over itself. It'll be old news by the time you can actually procure a PS3 in a store -- and despite their claims that it would not happen to them, I know many people who want a Wii and can't get their hands on it.
