Well, I saw some nice drops last night. One set of shoulders almost rivals my Mantle of Blackwing Cabal. Generally I'm seeing stuff with less damage but better stats than some of my epics. I doubt I'll replace anything for a few levels though, I've got a perfect balance right now (link below).
However, the folks that are replacing stuff fast are priests (trading +heal gear for +damage/heal gear for levelling) and hybrids (our main druid replace 2 epics last night).
1/2 way to level 61, taking it slow, enjoying the sites. I'll move faster tonight as I'll have some rested xp.
I do want to post some thoughts I shared on my realm forum and guild forum:

Lag was really bad during prime time. And a couple of the quest links in the chains are limited to a very small area being farmed by 13,567,201 nelfs all at once -- not the best of ideas.
It's pretty, very pretty. Hellfire peninsula is like playing WoW in Spaaaaaaaaace. Zanga's purdy too. The whole otherworldly feel is well done.
One comment regarding the "kid in a candy store feel." Yes, there's too much of it. The loot's just silly stupid. It's like there's zero sense of accomplishment anymore. I really think Blizzard took the "constant upgrades, constant rewards" model that has served them so well (some say too well... *cough* addiction) and they ratcheted it up to the Nth degree. Too much of a good thing becomes blase.
Easy mobs, easy killing, easy questing, easy loot.... tell me why I play this game again? It's pretty, but it's all grind and no challenge now. Hellfire ramparts is fun... kinda.... and kinda short. Better than the grind/questing. Just.... blase.
I see myself getting bored before 70, sadly.
