If you keep playing something when it's no longer fun, or keep watching something that's no longer fun, just because you're hooked and have to finish the next quest, or have to find out what happens to Joey, then it's addictive, and not "fun" (in my book).

My version of fun doesn't leave me feeling unsatisfied when I've spent 6 hours investing in it. Fun for me is not just during the moment itself, but how I feel in between those moments.

I'm playing WoW, but I won't start watching Heros again.
