Not everyone likes to go out and socialise wherever you think they should.
I didn't mention anything about going out and socializing at all. What I'm talking about is being addicted to a computer game. And when you are addicted, you neglect other things. Social life perhaps, but I'm talking about other things. Like say, bills that need to be paid or your own damn family. Even your mind literally begins to rot.

Furthermore, there is a fine line between an addiction wanting to catch a tv show. I won't dispute the fact that some people are literally addicted to television, I know there are. But sitting down for maybe an hour or so to watch some tv is the same as hopping on the computer and playing a game for a bit. There is nothing wrong with that and I have no qualms. An addiction is different though. An addiction is when something literally consumes your life. When you wake up early to squeeze in 30 minutes of game time before going to your job. Coming home on your lunch breaks to play the game. Coming home from work, eating dinner and then hopping right on and then play until the wee hours of the night. When you throw a hissyfit because you didn't get to play. I could keep giving details but I think you get the idea.
