If you only ever played with one NPC in the party, you will have missed out on all the great dialogue between the different NPCs, as well as the various romance options. Whatever you are going to play, I would suggest taking the full number of NPCs with you, and trying to cycle them as little as possible. Different NPCs have different comments depending on which ones that are in your party. That won't be boring, it'll be fun
