You do not recall correctly. And I have no pets with very good physical attacks except the imp who has 900 hp's. Your kitty has 4000 hp and a 1.2 sec. swipe speed, making casting impossible. I said I wouldn't bring deathcoil, because it's the thing everyone cries about. But if you'll leave the kitty home, I'll leave deathcoil AND my pet.
Back to the question at hand, in the xPac you needn't fear because pets will scale with level. Blizz has said so.

Threat caused by your next 3 attacks is redirected to the target raid member. Caster and target can only be affected by one Misdirection spell at a time. Effect lasts 30 sec.
