Agreed, Luvian. That's why before a mission ever loaded, my monk Cait Nic Cailleach would give a stern warning: anyone suicidal would be ignored. Anyone deciding to go solo (running far ahead of the party) would be ignored. General idiocy was highly frowned upon. (If you're a wammo and you've run three aggro rings away and/or aggro'd every mob you could find onto the casters, you're probably not going to get healed. If you're an ele and determined you can stand next to the warrior and play tank, you're not likely to be top on the list to heal. Etc.)
Cait would give the party her all and expected nothing less but the exact same from them. She finished the game (Prophecies), most parties heeding her warnings and doing very well. No one ever gave her any grief since she made it clear in the beginning what constituted idiocy and their unlikeliness of being healed properly if they pursued that path.
Her 'daughter', Marsali nic Cait is in Cantha training as healer. Hopefully she'll be as legendary as her mother.
