This might be fun for some of you salty dogs who know BG1 inside out and appreciate a new challenge: a speed competition. The task is to get through the game as quickly as possible with no reloading, assembling a party of six by the end of chapter 2, and maintaining a party of six from then. If an NPC dies you have to immediately ressurect or go get another. You get up to 100 rolls to create your character. No hacks or cheats of any kind allowed. Can be done with or without Tales.

Beyond making screenshots at various points it's kind of difficult to submit proof of a successfully completed game, so it mostly depends on the honor system. I guess the motivation is to meet the challenge of completing a game like that for it's own sake. I'm planning to get my own speed game started next week. You can take a look at the rules at:
