XFire, www.xfire.com is an invaluable tool for gaming with friends, also damn useful besides. This isn't an advertisement for it, but I'm mentioning it because it is rad. It's an IM client, but it also keeps track of what the people on your buddylist are playing and on what servers, so you can easily jump in and join them. Plus it lets you message them while they are playing, works for most games, without interrupting their gaming and while still letting them reply without alt-TAB'ing out. Furthermore, it auto-downloads patches, meaning you can avoid awful places like FilePlanet. If you need any more incentives to get it, it also has voice chat capabilities that are pretty decent.

Now, the reason I'm mentioning this is that I am up for some GW:Factions gaming, I've got a nice Ranger girl who's a bit bored since most of my guild is busy with silly stuff like Real Life and Paying The Bills meaning that they don't have Factions yet. If anyone's up for playing, get XFire, add purplexvi and ping me with a message.

Hope to see you in the game.

PS: XFire is completely free, though it does require you to sign up like any other IM service does.
