I agree that this ambush showed an extreme lack of respect, but that was the whole point. Many of the obsessive types that frequent MMORPGs treat the games as genuine warfare, where victories are to be had at any opportunity and at any cost.
The bottom line is that WoW is a game, and should not be taken too seriously, even when Real Life death is involved.
Perhaps the girl's clan leaders could have made a tribute webpage to her or something. Fighting is what WoW is all about, and by holding this 'funeral' in a PvP area the horde clanners were leaving themselves wide open for this. I wouldn't have joined in the ambush, but I don't feel sorry for the funeral goers.
The ambushers should not be banned, but they should definately watch their backs after pulling a stunt like that [img]smile.gif[/img] Don't get mad, get even.
