I think you're getting a little paranoid NobleNick...

You can chat, socialise, even use voice chat as much as you like, as long as you don't tell anyone your full name or anything else that could allow them to locate you in real life.

Everyone talk about things other than the game. Out of all the mmorpgs I've played, maybe only 10% of the chat is actually about the game.

And I really don't think it's a good idea to force women into acting like they were male. How can you have fun when you're on the defensive all the time and pretending to be someone else...

On a side note, overprotecting kids may lead them to have low self esteem and make them unprepared for life alone, as they've grown accustomed to having someone else think for them and didn't get much life experiences.
