WoW is the best selling MMO ever created. So far, 3.5 million players worldwide. Seriously, no game has ever gotten close to that mark.
Secondly, if you go WoW for PvP, expect a lot of crap from people. It's either Shaman this or Paladin that. Everyone gives this whole song and dance on how every class should be nerfed but theirs yada yada yada. It is a fact that there are some major imbalance issues PvP wise for WoW, but the extent at which people complain is ridiculous.
