Your comment brings up something I suspect, that gameplay outside of the "bases" may be slightly tailored to your profession.
I never got a 'tapestry shread' from Gwen. I gave her the girl's cape(BEFORE it cost 200GP), the flute and a flower. What else did you need to give her to get the tapestry shread? [/QUOTE]You need to give her the following
1. Broken Flute
2. New Flute
3. Cape
4. A few flowers (more than 1)
She will then tell you that you are the nices person she has ever met and will give you her most prized possesion. The Tapestry shred. No one knows its use.
BTW the cape is now 0 gold instead of 200.
