You're right about my parents being strict. I did worry about meeting peoples expectations when I was 14-18ish (but didn't everyone at that age?). I don't now.
I just remembered this dream this morning. I used to have it every night. I can't remember exactly how old I was (under 10, but I can't be more specific than that). I do remeber waking up from it and sometimes feeling like I had fallen. I also remember I had a border around the top of my bedroom wall with brightly coloured horses printed on it.
