Once some friends and I went to a new bar. A younger friend of mine decided to be 'funny' by breaking the filter off a cigarette and twisting both ends of it up like a joint. He waved it around at us for a minute or two, and occassionally pretended to 'toke' it, while we were telling him to stop being a jerk-off. He threw it in the trash can nearby (it hadn't been lit). Before long the manager came up and asked the guy to leave. When we asked what was going on....
...you guessed it, the waitress had reported the guy was smoking pot. We tried to explain, but he said my buddy had to go, and if we didn't like it we could go, too. We didn't like it, but we did not
go gently into that good night.
The next day, after sobering up, I realized how much it sucks to get in trouble for something someone else didn't actually do.
