Stormy for the batteries, just get a set of at least 4 rechargeable AA batteries and a charger. While one set of 2 is being the drained the other is either being charged or is already charged, that's how I run it.
Memnoch, basically the more $ the more extra buttons and the cooler it looks (well as far as looks go that's debatable).
