I had my left ear pierced twice and my right ear once. Took them out about 8 months after meeting my wife. She says that in the Philippines, only gay men have earings. I don't really believe that, but I was getting grief from one of her sisters and unfortunately let it influence me (actually, I took them out mainly because my wife was also hearing about it from her sister all the time and I got tired of having my wife feel she had to defend me)
Both my wife and I have tatoos (interestingly, we got them after I lost the earrings...). She has a butterfly at the base of her spine and I have a wolf howling at the moon on my left forearm. I will get at least one more when I have time and money.
