Well, Bowie may have looked incredibly silly in those days, but musically, that was the best period in his career. I mean, what's not to love about
Hunky Dory and
Ziggy Stardust & The Spiders from Mars.
Late 70's (Berlin) Bowie isn't that bad, either.
