LOL, but then we'd miss out on Caruso's ability to state lines like "Well, now, we'll just have to see about that, won't we?" with WAAAAAYYY too much dramatic flair. You can tell when a commercial is coming, because Horatio says some dramatic line right before the cutaway.
I would like to see the finger-wavy know-it-all savant from Law & Order: Criminal Intent (the one that played the Bug in MIB) bite the bullet. Literally. While in the middle of pointing/waving his finger at someone and telling them their innermost secrets he always takes a pause and says "But, you wouldn't do that, would you?" In my version, they'd just say "no, you're all wrong, I will do it" pull out a DE50 and shoot him in his ugly face. Then we wouldn't be annoyed with his ability to learn new languages or read libraries full of materials between commercials anymore.
