My first solo (and still the best) was with a Ranger dueled to a Cleric at level 9. The guy mowed down anything and everything in its path duel wielding FoA and Crom Faeyr. Advantages:
Warrior’s constitution boost
Ranger’s duel wielding bonus points
Cleric’s ability to level up fast
Priest AND druid spells
Buffing beyond belief {Ironskins, barkskin, bless, chant, draw upon holy might, protection from evil, armor of faith, aid, holy power, negative plane protection, blade barrier and about a dozen more
Summons: woodland being, fire elemental, undead, animals, aerial servant,
Turn undead (it’s great watching things blow up just because you’re standing still)
Hide in Shadows
Can wear any armor, helmets, gauntlets etc.
You can heal yourself.
True you have to bite the bullet when it comes to traps but you can heal yourself.
