For solo I would advice a:

- Sorcerer - Tough class for the first time if you are not familiar with spellcasters but they are so powerfull when used right
- Barbarian - Number 1 tank, great hp (use half-orc of dwarf for con. bonus)
- Multi-Class - Try Mage/Fighter/Thief.. then install Tactics mod and set it on Insane and be like Xen

, great way to explore the benefits of each class... or use Priest instead of mage.

It's all on you.. every class can be solod but the game must be fun when doing it... Sorcerer or Barbarian are fun IMO for soloing tour.
