It is sad. What will be forgotten is his bowling ability, in the early and mid part of his career he was an excellent partnership breaker. It has to be said though that he had lost his passion for playing this last year. His performance for NSW was lackluster so I’m glad he has called it quits.
I for one will always claim he was the best slip fielder ever and I dont expect arguments against that claim.
