This is why I said "pseudo-paladin." In Latin
pseudo is translated "as if." In other words, he's a pompous paladin-wannabe.
I have a feeling our next dialogue is going to happen right before we sleep. I've been resting to recover spells and what not, not when my party is tired.

The same thing happened when Jaheira left the note for my party. We had slept before then, but the only time she left was when party members announced that they were tired and the fatigue graphic sprung up next to their portraits.
