Actually there was a cartoon called "Oscars Farm" (It was show with Garfield somethimes) and in one episode it lectured about Cartoon Physics very funny.
Eg.
Like how a cartoon character has to see a threatening/ amusing thing 2-3 times before they realise what the are looking at.
I.E (only for an example)
Wille Cyote sees a billboard saying "Free Bird Trap".
First he will pass the sign only taking a glimps.
Then will turn back for a second look.
Then finall look back with eyes widened and reading eagerly.
