*applause* Well said... At first I couldn't stand the character, and I'm sure that's what the game makers wanted people to feel; complete detatchment and hatred for the 'bad guy'. As the story went on, I almost started respecting him... especially after this comment by the Coweled Wizards:

"Why was this man not gagged? Did he not slay four of you?"
"We dared not approach!"

How can you not develop at least a LITTLE respect for the guy after that? As the story unfolded, I slowly started to relate to the character, and even feel sorry for him... in a 'Bram Stoker's Dracula' kinda way... anyone who goes thru all that crap isn't THAT bad a person, are they? And yes, in the end, I almost wished I could have helped him after watching the ending sequence. (tho I'm sure my paladin felt quite differently)

But that's just me... maybe I'm weird in that I like watching a movie and seeing the end myself. I'm not one of those people who knows the other person in the room saw it, so I keep asking "Who's that? Why did they show him?" Kinda takes the fun out of it eh?
