Not cold... YET. Until the snow is SQUEAKING under your boots and your nostrils are freezing together when you breathe it's not that cold. (Usually happens around -15f and colder)
REALLY cold is when the radio guys warn you that "exposed skin will freeze in under 30 seconds", an announcement I heard one winter up in Potsdam NY. The temp was about 30 below, wind chill was something like 65 below.
That was cold.
The hottest I ever experienced was 127f in Jeddah Saudi Arabia... so that means I've experienced 157 degrees of temperature swing.
The extremes of that swing are not fun. [img]smile.gif[/img]
