I can understand how you feel, Megabot! When I first got my licence I was in my final year of high school, and my mum said I could borrow her car once a week to drive to school. But I didn't because I'd seen the way all the students milled outside after school and crossed the road whenever they felt like it and ran in front of cars - even if an accident wasn't my fault, how devastating would it be to run someone over! Which is petty compared to being in charge of a huge truck which could easily kill someone, regardless of whose fault it was. I guess you just have to drive as carefully as you can, and be aware that these drivers are out there. I would imagine the likelihood of actually hitting someone would be reasonably low as well.
