There's a flip side to this coin. In East KY where I grew up, coal trucks OWN the road, and act accordingly. It's a pretty common occurrence for someone to die in an accident with one, especially when they blow through yellow/red lights because they are hard to stop when full and are going too fast to begin with.

Well, one of my best best friend from childhood was crossing a road when a coal truck going too fast hit his car, killing his pregnant wife. Last I heard, he hasn't stopped drinking yet, and has been in a depression for 8 years.

Now, I give truckers room on the road, and I am sensitive to how much of a pain in the arse it is for them if I make them lose speed by swerving in front of them (as it takes so long for them to gain speed). OTH, there are good truckers and bad truckers out there. Among the ones that annoy me are those who pass another truck on an incline, going only 2-3 mph faster than the truck they ware passing. That's plain inconsiderate.

Anywho, just some thoughts.
