Ronn_Bman has a point there. The U.S.A. is commonly refered to simply as America, and the citizens are refered to as Americans. Canada has it's Canadians, and Peru it's Peruvians. Cuba has Cubans. U.S.A. has American's. (Not that it's fair for us to monopolize on the name of the entire continent, but let's face it, there are very few other countries that can be so full of themselves and still survive
