Hehe, in recognition of Jorath's "Worst Drink Ever" thread, I was thinking a similar thread should be made re food.
But not just any food.
I'm talking food that your own family and/or friends have served you before.
I'll start:
I have two actually..
And it was always on my birthday!
When I turned 13 my grandmother made this big meal, and one of her "side dishes" was this thing she called Tomato Aspic. Well, Tomato Aspic is hideously discusting LOL. Its like in a gel form and it actually haunted me for a few days after I tasted it, it was THAT horrible LOL, traumatizing!
Then, when I turned 16, we went to visit family cause it was also Thanksgiving (I hate that my birthday sometimes falls on Thanksgiving!), so I have no say-so as a kid and 10 hours later we get to my grandma's house. The next day, my birthday, at Grandma's house, I got a bunch of kiddie gifts cause nobody knew really how old I was cause we didn't visit that often cause they are TEN HOURS AWAY! Blah I was thrilled at my Ice Cream Cone Pin. [img]tongue.gif[/img] And my Aunt made me a cake. Was a chocolate cake, although it didn't have much sugar in it cause she was a health nut and didn't want to use the recommended amount of sugar, it was an apricot chocolate cake, so all this apricot stuff was in the middle of the cake, syrup an all. Was pukey LOL! When nobody was looking I snuck into my Aunt's kitchen and tossed my piece of cake in the trash, but left a tiny bit on my plate, and played it like I had eaten it all LOL, was "stuffed", although inside I was barfing LOL.
So my two items would be tomato aspic and chocolate/apricot cake [img]tongue.gif[/img]
