It is never too late. But then with that kind of reason to begin with it is going to be pretty hard to take her back. Hey, I have my girlfriend live on a different city, and with all the hustle and bustle of traffic and pollution here it is very tiring and stressful. I never did complain even though I knew it was far, even if my mom and I killed each other for the car... we're going very strong on 9 months going to 10, and ealier in our relationship we didn't see each other for 1 1/2 months, and yes it drove me NUTS. But I didn't give up on her like you did...
In my opinion you don't love the girl because you still are concerned with yourself more than her... which is a good thing because from how you have been acting it seems that you can deal with it pretty well...
