OK, here's a REALLY tricky one

I've just got hold of an old Philips webcam, and though it seems to happily capture (crappy) video clips using just about any compression codec I care to select i.e. DIVX, Mpeg4, XviD etc., it stubbornly refuses to encode audio in anything other than something called PCM. This results in soundless vids when I play back in Windows Media Player.

Any ideas how I can get sound on these clips?? Enquiring minds (and my niece in Baku) want to know.
