When you Import your character from BG I to BG II, you can use SK to modify your imported Char. with the class you want (Monk/Sorcerer).

However it is NOT possible to play a Monk or Sorcerer in BG I, just play with a mage or fighter and when you import him/her to BG II change his/her stats/class so he/she become's the class you want him/her to be.
