Well you can start by thinking up small things they eat.
ELves: most likely berries and water, a loaf of bread. I dont think they eat meat since they are so one with nature and all that.
Dwarves: large chunks of meat and ALE! Mountain dwarves will fancy the ocassional lump of rock with dust-sauce on it
