I have many better things to do then pick up the armor, gear, and rations of my NPC hirelings..

I refuse to equip them with the spoils of plunderous rampages in BG series, NWN series or, Wiz 8.

Many items get disintegrated anyways in BG and often times you are dis-armed in NWN. So... that's it.. no more, it's all mine
