Hmmm, I have to agree that ages is probably most effective in the main hand for the sole reason that it slows, but don't be so quick to rule out Crom as a main hand weapon in SoA.

It's damage is superior to many weapons: 2D4+3, +5 electrical damage = 13 damage average (compared to Ages 10.5) . AFAIK, this SoA average is surpassed only by the impailer spear (and that requires two hands), and Crom's elemental damage will punch right through stoneskins like Ages.

People are always quick to put Crom in the Offhand, but it is an awesome weapon that should not be underestimated!
