An entire topic discussing Justin Timberlake, and not a single mention of The Neptunes?
Normally there is something leprous about former boy-band members trying to start a solo-career, an over-critically attitude towards every single one of their steps. And Justin Timberlake just went past that stage without a blink, heck, most people will probably have forgotten or (forgiven?) by now that he was once part of one of the most annoying boybands in the entire genre... All thanks to the "hip" production of the Neptunes, there are even critics who mention him in one breath with Michael Jackson (which is anno 2003 not really something to be proud of, but oh well

).
I couldn't care less about his music with N Sync nor his current "achievements" (which in my opinion are only partly his), but from a neutral perspective he made an impressive step from an absolute boy-band zero to someone many people nowadays refer to as "cool".
