Yeah I had a trainer like that once. But it wasn't karate, it was Muay-Thai & Full Contact Kickboxing. He'd call up one guy to stand next to him and then started explaining defense to the other kids. Then suddenly *ZANG*, one well-placed elbow in the gut of the guy standing next to him. "You should have seen that coming boy!". The guy got up, held his arms before his stomach and found the teachers fist in his face before he knew what hit him. "Live and learn boy!". Shortly thereafter the teacher was banned from the sportsschool for disencouraging too many students, who left after the beating.
