Twisted Rune. You can count on hastiness of the mage there. The mage will try to gate a fiend in sooner or later - and she will forget to protect the monsters there (including herself) from evil. Therefore, the fiend will do a lot of work for you. In the other words, the same trick as the one with Balor in Guarded Compound.
You will need as much summoning spells as possible and some Wizard Eyes so that you can stay away from the main room, keep the monsters in the room, and send the summoned monsters inside.
The result of this strategy: you must do something with the lich and with a few somehow surviving monsters. Don't forget Shyrezza (she drains 4 levels per successful hit). She can survive. I have applied this method with my party of three many times and I was always successful. No deaths, no serious wounds, no level drains.
Another possibility is the green Protection from Magic scroll. The scroll lasts many hours so that you can do both Kangaxx and Twisted Rune with a single scroll. IMO, the scroll isn't a good idea for a solo sorceror, even if it makes both Kangaxx and the most dangerous monsters in Twisted Rune completely helpless, because it needs good fighters in the party. Well, you can cast Tenser's Transormation on yourself before using the scroll but what to do when the spell wears off?
