Maybe you can go for this ''formatteren'' sometimes I uninstall things on my computer but when it is complety removed there is always something left behind from that distinct program and when I install it again it has the same settings again like 4 months ago... this will probaly not work with SoA, but maybe there is a file that sticks in the Main SoA map that contains that Unusual bug...
its the same with with other games, an examply:
I install Half-life ----> Counterstrike...
I type in the cd key ----> gets in the Windows Database
3 Months later I wanna play counterstrike once more so I start it up... Failure CD-Key Invalid (orginal cd, not speaking of piracy here!)
Sierra cannot help me with this problem because they give me shitty advise and really don't seem to give a sh*t what my problems are.
I buy a new copy of half-life/counterstrike, install it.. I do not need to put the cd-key in the registry because it seems it already has a cd key code of half-life, I change the orginal key code in the Windows Registry and change it with the new code I got from my new CS/HL cd...
Half-life.exe.... and finally it works again... just because there was a glitch in the Windows Registry (not really a glitch but a real irrating bug that should not have been there) I couldn't play CS for about a week...
