Havent a clue. Windows VMM is crap, out-of-memory errors usualy dont appear until the system is practicaly unusuable due to hyperactive swapping anyway.

Or, I could be missing the obvious. You marked this as an IE error, so I suspect its a java applet thats used to do the update. I have seen java applets throw memory errors with several hundred Mb remaining. Dunno why it would go away and it should never appear when the applet is running at normal load, but maybe something get messed up.
